Diphen 5 is a children formula containing Diphenhydramine Oral Solution BP used in loosening of phlegm and effective relief of cough and cold symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose as well as watery eyes.

Directions
Children 2-6 years: 5ml spoonful 3-4 times a day.
Children 7-12 years: 10ml (two x 5ml spoonful) 3-4 times a day, or as directed by the physician.
Indications
For the relief of productive cough (with phlegm), cold and bronchial congestion.
It is also indicated for the relief of nasal irritation, sneezing and lachrymation.
Precautions
May cause drowsiness.
It should not be taken concomitantly with central nervous depressants such as alcohol, barbiturates, hypnotics, narcotic analgesic, sedatives and tranquilisers.
Large doses may precipitate fits in epileptics.
Keep out of reach of children.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place.
