Ketac Glaze is a light-cured varnish that protects glass ionomer restorations from moisture and saliva during setting. It is indicated for: Class III and V restorations, wedge-shaped defects, small Class 1 fillings, core build-ups and minimally invasive dentistry (MID).
- Ideal for pediatric and geriatric patients
- Can be used to treat lost or cervical restorations
- Less shrinkage than traditional composites—leads to better marginal integrity
- Unique capsule design assures proper activation—so time-wasting, costly “duds” are not a problem
